    As I live in the united states, I can't take your survey. I recently purchased a acer notebook ( model # 5100-3357 ), as this is my very first notebook, I'm still learning how to use it. It came pre-loaded with microsoft windows vista home premium edition on it. I have been using ms windows xp, what a difference. Good luck with your survey..

    Just got an Acer laptop for the 1st time and it is say 7/10.
    Acer aspire 5685
    Good things: Great spec for a reasonable price, screen looks good too.

    Bad things : Battery life (got some catching up to do with ASUS), webcam and general build quality (very plastic .. ie does not seem that robust!). Touchpad whilst ok could be better IMO.

    Hi Nina,

    I'm Australian, but my parents are Taiwanese, I've filled the servey out, but put myself as British (aus came from uk :p).

    I had a TM3200, which died 2 weeks ago, now i got a Sony Vaio :)

    If there was a comment area, i would comment: Acer need to work on the cooling of their laptops, i believe my acer died due to overheating.
