    Greetings,

I hope someone can provide some insight as to why our TravelMate is overheating. Currently it is a year old and this has just started to occur.
Primarily this happens when it is plugged in. My initial reaction tells me that it is the battery causing this problem. But im not sure. Also, the fan runs
often while it is plugged in too.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you resolve it?

    Thank you.

I noticed it about a week ago. It just started happening.

How do I access the HWmonitor?

Hi, first try and download latest drivers, that sometimes helps, take the back off an clean with compressed air, dust is also a big cause, the cryo lx cooler is also a great way to keep your notebook nice and cool, could do with your temp readings first though
