    Hi all,

After being a long time reader of the forum and user of the site I decided to take part on the forum. Not only that but I'm also buying a notebook to take some duties from my desktop home.

The notebook I'm almost buying is the ACER Travelmate 4402, but it only comes with 512Mb of memory. DO any of you guys know if it is possible to upgrade this?
If it is which brand of memory would be good for that?

    Anyone already tried ths?

    regards,

you can upgrade the ram up to 2 GB, however, the supported
memory speed for TM4402 MB is limited at DDR333

It is easy to upgrade the memory. There's a door on the bottom of the notebook somewhere where the RAM dimm slots are located. See your user's manual - it will tell you which door the memory is in.

Your notebook is upgradeable to 2GB (1GB module in each slot) as already posted, and it's DDR333 PC2700 speed (200-pin).

Check www.newegg.com - they have a nice memory finder.

Crucial, Kingston, are some well known brands. You can't go wrong with them.
