Too good to be true? It's weird.
Buy ACER V3-571G | 17" LAPTOP - Laptops | Comet
I noticed this PC briefly a few weeks ago on Currys/PC World but it got taken down extremely quick. To my surprise, I found it at Comet last night, same specs and all, for £999.99
I'm sceptical of it but however Medion actually does a similar laptop for £1100 (this Acer one is also £1100 but it's got the priced reduced to £999).
Only 1 other place sells this laptop and I'm starting to wonder if there's a misprint somewhere or something, considering both sites don't carry the image.
Anyone own this laptop or also have the same suspicions? Currently, I might order it and collect it in store, examine the box there, and then handover my money.

There is an error here for sure- v3-571 is a 15" notebook. For it to be a 17" it would have to be named v3 7xx (like 771).
Also Acer uses 1600x900 on 17" units and 1366x768 on 15" ones so the resolution is also incorrect.
I would be cautious about this offer- too many things are wrong. -
Thanks for the warning there. I had suspected something is weird. I'm aware of the "issue" before where PC World/Currys took down this product from their page reallllllllly fast.
As Comet does a click and collect service in which that you would pay only at the store (upon collection) I can checkout the box there. I might not even bother now but it's just a thought, the nearest Comet to me is approx 45 minutes away lol.
But otherwise yeah, Acer laptops/models seem extremely frustrating to deal with when it comes to tracking down the specifics.
