anyone else have this problem ? my screen's contrast is lower then other laptops and colors are dull , i also have grainy screens i think my desktop back grounds seems grainy , so is my screen a dud ?
i have power performance on played with color , brightness settings used new drivers only thing that helped with the colors and contrast a bit was upping digital vibrance to over %50 , my last laptop was brighter and had much better colors ..
i dont know what to do i love this laptop except for the screen !

Ok... there is definitely a problem.

Did you try updating the graphic driver?

This might be really stupid, but you have vibrance on?

Noticed that Vista looks really sucky without that on.

And pcteck, I noticed no difference on my 5920G from 169.09 and the other drivers.

Gonna upgrade to the newer drivers pretty soon, I'll keep an eye out for any IQ change.

just out of curiousity pcteck, but is it mottled and uneven in color/brightness or is it just dull, all over? I'm almost wondering if you maybe got a screen thats non-glossy, rather then glossy?

yes this is the glossy screen as i can see my reflections.
i just download the 16925 drivers its the same quality as my other drivers.
