Hello I recently did a clean install of 7 x64 and used the drivers from the website Download

apparently they don't include the couple apps that come preloaded from the factory install such as:
Dolby home theater v4 (it's actually handy for this laptop)
    Acer Crystal Eye Webcam
and the webcam driver ( I'm currently using the generic windows driver)

I found the app for the acer crystal eye webcam but it wont work with this windows driver, i need the driver as i googled for over an hour and found nothing. :(

I also found the dolby home theater package v4 I can provide the links if you are interested in installing it.

can anyone please give me a link or help me find the right driver for the webcam? thanks. ;)

    hi,

I also did a clean install on my 3830TG. I also need the drivers for the Dolby home theater drivers. Can you give me the link? I'll post the url for the clear eye webcam drivers if I can find them

Hello it's a 2-part since its 263MB file you need 7-zip to uncompress it
    part 1 DolbyHT_v4_[8aag01ww]_full version.7z.001
    part 2 DolbyHT_v4_[8aag01ww]_full version.7z.002
    1) Make sure both files are in the same folder and uncompress them.
    2) Run the DolbyHTV4 .msi file ( will say lenovo within the details) but don't worry it will uncompress the setup .msi file to a folder in your hard drive.
    3) Now this msi setup will now run the actual installation process and it will install the dolby home theater v4 after you complete the prompts.
It works flawlessly :) (tested analog and digital outputs).
Let me know if you have any questions.

yes use it lightly more or less (your mile may vary depending on the type of headphones), the control settings can really enhance the quality of your sound, experiment and use it to your taste, out all the notebook i owned this acer 3830tg by far has the best quality and tweaking options.

I tried a Dobly driver on my 5739G, but it didn't work out good. I'll test this and see how it does.

Update: Realtek driver does it better. It also has Dobly integrated, but v3 only. However, the sound quality is better for me with realtek driver (lastest version from realtek.com.)

    Hey Guys,
I know this is an old post. But just have a couple of doubts.
    1. After the clean installation of windows, how did you activate it? Did you use any backup-and-restore app? or did you call MS?
    2. Mediafire has removed the link for Dolby HT. Can you send it to me, somehow (mail/seed/upload)?
