If someone from ACER is reading this: You have potential American customers who would do ANYTHING to get a white Aspire 1410 or 1810TZ. A white model you already produce in other markets. I would pay any amount of money, but there is no white American model for me to buy. Are you going to just let me walk away? I will end up buying an Asus 1008HA if someone can't get me a white/ silver 1410 or 1810TZ

ACER Make it happen! Contact us and we will give you such good internet publicity that you'll be amazed. How hard can it be to stick an American keyboard on a white 1410 or 1810TZ that you already produce?

I believe I had read a post from an Acer expert here that once they launch a new model with certain colors, that they will not reintroduce new colors to that model, at least in the U.S. :(

I hope that isn't true and they can bring the white color over here, maybe they found there wasn't as high a market for white notebooks here than in other regions of the world?

Aside from white, are there other colors or options we are missing out here compared to other parts of the world?

Buy another color, take it apart, and have an automotive body shop paint it any color you want. :p

Would I need to apply primer first? ;)

Not sure. The paint guys would know better. You would probably need to rough up the surface slightly first to help the paint stick, but not sure if primer would be needed.
