Hi there,
I have had my Acer for 3 years now (I know its time to change).
It's been quite a difficult journey with my graphics card having to be changed and little problems here and there.
I am now experiencing a sound issue. I do get sound but it only comes out through the sub at the bottom of the laptop. The Virtual Surround Sound speakers don't seem to be working at all.
I have tried to configure the sound setting to a 5.1 Sound but the only option I get is Stereo.
Otherwise the sound is working when I plug in my earphones or my logitech computer speakers (with sub).
I have been browsing the internet for hours to find a solution but I can't find any.
Thanking you in advance for your help.
Alex

Hi there.
It sounds like that your sound driver is corruptGo to Acers website, find your computer, download the Realtek sound driver and reinstall it
You can also go to realteks website, and pick up the latest driver
