    Hi there,

I have had my Acer for 3 years now (I know its time to change).

It's been quite a difficult journey with my graphics card having to be changed and little problems here and there.

I am now experiencing a sound issue. I do get sound but it only comes out through the sub at the bottom of the laptop. The Virtual Surround Sound speakers don't seem to be working at all.
I have tried to configure the sound setting to a 5.1 Sound but the only option I get is Stereo.
Otherwise the sound is working when I plug in my earphones or my logitech computer speakers (with sub).
I have been browsing the internet for hours to find a solution but I can't find any.

Thanking you in advance for your help.

    Alex

    Hi there.

It sounds like that your sound driver is corrupt :) Go to Acers website, find your computer, download the Realtek sound driver and reinstall it :)

You can also go to realteks website, and pick up the latest driver ;)
