I have bought an AKE Express Card USB 3.0 54mm Card for my Acer 6920G. I tried installing several different versions of Renesas USB 3.0 Host Controller driver, but my laptop never recognizes the card (even without anything plugged in).

Has anyone ever purchased the USB 3.0 adapter card and succeeded installing the driver and having it recognized?

The USB 3.0 express card description from Amazon:

Amazon.com: Express card 54mm To 2 Port USB 3.0 expresscard: Electronics

I want to make sure that there is no way to use this before I return it. Thank you in advance for your help, folks!
