The RM-72 ia also Socket S1. but when I try to run it in my 7520G, it does not work at all.
Is it not compatible? I thought same Socket, so it must be - am I wrong?
Thanks in advance

Yes they are both socket s1 but ther're actually 4 different version of this socket: s1g1, s1g2, s1g3, s1g4 and they arent electrictly compatible with each other. 7520G have s1g1 and RM-72 is s1g2. Check here: List of AMD mobile microprocessors - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
