    Dear all,

I'm looking to buy a new notebook and am interested in the Aspire 1674WLMi, I'm trying to research it, but can't see anything on the forums or web, does anyone own one and can comment? Is it a new model?

The spec is below, is there a comparable alternative for £1068?

    Thanks!

    Jon

Here's a link to Acer's UK site for this product.

This unit uses the Pentium 4 CPU. Normally the things that accompany this CPU is heat and low battery life. Not only that, the systems are usually bigger/thicker/heavier. If portability is something you want, you may want to go get yourself a Pentium M notebook. They have better battery life and are usually smaller. If portability is not too big of a concern, then this notebook sould be fine.
