    Hi all.

I recently bought this laptop 1830-3595 off eBay marked as new. I had problems with the laptop heating up really quickly, so I sent it in and they fixed it for me (in one business day, surprisingly).

Anyway, I have a question about the battery life since I'm only getting ~5 hours max on a full charge with only wifi on and minor word processing./internet Screen brightness is ~20-40% depending on where I am. I just want to know if the AT&T version of this laptop has a smaller battery than the 1830T-3505, which has the exact same specs plus an extra gig of ram. I tried looking on the AT&T site, but they don't really provide any information.

    Thanks!

i also have the 1830-3595 and the battery on mine is rated at 5800mah, which appears to be identical to the battery size of the timelinex 11.6" series but for some reason, im also getting really bad battery life. at most windows will show max run time 4.5hr from a full charge. i'm starting to suspect it's the 3g qualcomm that drains the battery even though it's not being used. i wish there's a way to turn that chip off completely.
