    Hey,

i borrowed an Aspire 3810TZ just a fiew days ago, but there is one thing that really goes on my nerves... Every time I run my notebook on battery, Windows will set the Brightness to a very low level. Ok, i thought, i can set this in the Win7 Power Options, but the Settings I made there will be overwritten an not used by the System!! Has anyone an Idea why? Has anyone figured out how to set the Displaybrightness to an constant value?

I dispatched this question to the Acer support an they just tell me that this is normal for win7 and there is no solution. Is this right?!

    regards Simon

PS: Sorry for my bad englisch ^^

I think ePower management handles brightness, and overwrites the win7 power setting?
