So guys, I have got acer AS-5755G-9417.

Problem is I dont like the screen, its too low resolution, but everything else is just perfect. So I was wondering if the screen can be replaced with another high resolution screen?
    Like this one for example:

LP156WF1(TL)(C1) replacement Laptop LCD Screen from $69.99 Brand-new screens (never used).

The one on my laptop and the one in the link, both have same 40 pin connector and same dimensions (13.6"x7.6") and my graphic card (nvidia gt540m) does support higher resolutions.

    So is it possible?

    That screen would require dual-LVDS.
It's unlikely that Acer used it unless there were 5755s with higher resolution screens.
There's no service manual for this unit available so it's hard to tell for sure.

This is the awesomely boring document on LVDS that describes most of what you should know except you still won't know if you have single or dual LVDS having read that file.

When certain model in available with only single-LVDS resolution like 1366x768, there is no dual-LVDS available since there is not point to do that (at least from Acer's standpoint)
With no service manual available I can't check if it's available or not and I have no idea how to check it, sorry.
