    G'day!

I'm finding the Orbicam's performance less than stellar. Does anyone know of a way to make it record video at better frame rates?

    Thanks,

you can read more about how to fix this in the other 5672 link on this forum but for staters you need to uncheck the low light settings box.

Thanks skullnrose. I'll take a look at the thread and my "low light settings."

With good lighting and no low light settings, you can get AWESOME videos from this little camera. One thing I'll suggest though, and this made a huge difference for what I want. Go to Acers site and download the software for the Orbicam and reinstall it. Then the Orbicam.exe software you will have will be the 1.0.0 This version gives you the ability to create a video email. The software that ships w/ the 5672WLMi doesn't have this, and thus has no program native to compress the .avi and covert it to .wmv and then automatically open your e-mail program to send it.

    Pretty nifty and works GREAT!

The frame rate is limited to 15.15fps...don't ask me why they didn't use something more standard like 14.985. :-/

Can somebody post the address for the page with the improved Orbicam software? I went onto Acer's site but am having trouble finding it. Thanks.
