    Yeps Guys,

I just bought my Acer Aspire 5672! A great laptop I think, but I have a problem! On the front you can plug in your headset! So I tried it because my music is playing to hard to put on my speakers!

The problem is, when I plug in my headset, nothing is happening... Normally you should hear the music in your headset, but the music does'nt change, it is still playing in the speakers of my laptop..

What can I do about it...

    Another problem is:

When I put my laptop into hibernating mode, I get a blue screen and it reboots! When i put it in stand by it works fine!!

    I have another problem .

When i'm on the net surfing with my wireless connection without connected to the power adapter everything works! When the battery is running low I put my power adapter in! Then i lose my internet connection ...

OK, number 1 - are you definitely putting the jack into the third socket along on the right? NOT the first on the left. I made that mistake initially. Bet you are. ;)
Secondly, download and install the new bios from the Acer site, as has been detaild in previous posts on this forum. This solves some hibernation/reboot problems. Also check that you have hibernation correctly enabled in control panel/system and that it is showng the correct amount of system space required for the amount of RAM that you have. Previous problems that I have seen always involved the hibernation mode not recognising extra RAM in the machine.
Third one...not sure. Check your power management software and what settings have been applied. Maybe it defaults to WiFi off/LAN on when plugged in, and WiFi ON/LAN off when on battery.

    Hee traxy,

I have exactly the same problem with my wireless internet connection. When i am working on the battery i dont have any problems with my WLAN, when putting in my adapter i get problems with my WLAN.

Do you already have a solution?? I contacted Acer they couldn't give an answer and gave me the option to send my laptop for repair/check-up.

I just hope you've got an solution. Please tell me
