AS5738G-664G32MN vs AS5738ZG-434G50MN vs AS5738G-664G50MN?

Hey everyone,

New to this forum but plan on hanging around for a while as i am planning on buying an acer notebook.

I have seen my friends Acer Aspire 5738g... And i am quite impressed by it. But i am having some real trouble in finding the exact model. His model has a 500GB hard drive and a DDR3 ram which confuses me as most i have come across on sale have 320GB hard drives and DDR2 ram. It also has something to do with an NVIDIA graphics set up.

I am quite positive that his model is the AS5738ZG-434G50MN. This model has some very small differences compared to the other two i listed. I am just too computer illiterate to understand which differences are better.

I have found three places where i can buy each of these models, and each place lists the specifications of each model, so if anyone could maybe have a look and tell me which 5738 i should be leaning towards in terms of performance, it would be much appreciated.

I assume that the "32MN" and "50MN" in the model names relate to the hard drive capacities. But i am quite curious as to what the other numbers and letters relate to, especially the "z".

I am not sure if these are all part of the Acer gemstone series, so if someone could also shed some light on that, itd be awesome.
