My 17 mth computer suddenly had a blue screen with error messgae PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA ......etc it told me to push F8 to open in safe mode which I did but nothing happened! I turned the computer off and now it won't open up again. The power registers but the screen stays blank! Anyone got any suggestions or is it past hope?

I have tried to contact ACER U.K by e-mail but it won't accept my message as it says SNID number should not exceed 11 digits but it's actually only letting me put in 3 digits!! I've also tried to ring but every number is coming up invalid or 'mail box full'. Anybody know how to actually contact a eal person at ACER?

I have to say that HP have a very good 'On-line chat' help service, why don't ACER?????

Unplug the power cord, remove the battery, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds, bring back the battery, turn it ON.
    See what happens.

You can try replacing the memory sticks from another machine or if you have a spare one. But it's probably your motherboard/chipset...
