I'm planning to replace the original damaged bios chip of my laptop (MX29LV008CBTC-70G) by an AMD one (AM29LV008BB-120EF). After reading the datasheets of both the main difference i noticed is related to the Acces Time wich is 70ns for the first and 120ns for the second. Does this difference can cause problems for the normal operation of the laptop.
Thanks.

you might be able to flash on broad too -
Thanks for replying.
I don't know if my bios chip is or not spi one and if there is jtag on the mobo (it's an Acer Aspire 5630). I have already desoldered the bios chip (and accidentally broken it..). I have enough knowledge to programm the new chip externally (I have the required programmer) and to resolder it on the mobo. My problem now is to know if the access time issue will or not be a problem for the laptop normal operation.
It also would be very helpfull for me to know if there is possibility to onboard programming the bios chip of this laptop. If yes i'll try to resolder the new chip and programm it onboard.
Access time issue. Advice please
