    Hi guys

I have an Acer Aspire 5737Z laptop installed with Windows Vista....I am thinking in upgrading now to Windows 7, but I don't want to lose Vista. I want to make a factory default OS disk, but I don't have enough DVD's...But I have a DATA partition in my hard drive, which I think it's made for recovery...... How can I make a factory default OS disk backup to that partition, if my Acer backup program (photo below) only shows the CD/DVD drive?

Please help me.....I am stuck to Vista because of this!!!
    Cheers

Rather then messing about with Acer backups and recovery disks and all that nonsense, I just torrented a Vista ISO image, burnt it, wiped everything off all the partitions then reinstalled Vista using the serial key on the sticker on the underside of my laptop.

Theoretically, this is a perfectly legal way of obtaining a "backup" copy of *your* preinstalled version of Vista because you're just using the OEM license key that is locked to your hardware.

Using another license key or trying to get round product activation is piracy, not using the key you own on the hardware it's intended for.
