Hey all, just got my 1410 SU2300 machine. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Pro x64 and installed the updated Intel drivers for video and chipset from the Timeline Tweaks thread (all the others were from Windows Update). With the Win7 Home Premium that came with the unit, I was able to come out of suspend automatically when opening the lid. Now, I have to press the power button to get the machine out of suspend. Could it be one of the power management drivers causing this problem? Is there a solution to it, or am I stuck like this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi,

After going on sleep, I just have to click on space bar to put it working. I've done a fresh installation of Windows 7 with the driver from ACER site, but, not ACER power management.

    Anything I can help....

    Regards,

With Vista 64bit; hitting the enter key will do.
If there's a browser open and especially with Firefox, it hangs when I try to get out of sleep mode by opening the lid. I haven't receive my copy of Windows7 yet, hopefully it'll fix the issue, but have you guys experience the hanging/freezing issue coming out of sleep mode?

Haven't tried the Acer Power Management yet. Is that something I can get through Acer's site, because I haven't found it there?

I've updated my chipset, SATA, and graphics drivers to the latest versions. Still having this minor issue.

Bios v. 1.33a seems to have fixed the problem for me.
