    Hi,

I am connecting my Laptop to a TV through the S-Video cable. I get the picture but not the Audio IS there any setting that has to be changed or I have to separately connect an audio cable from my PC to the TV to get the audio.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question or has already been answered in the forum efore - you all are aware of the database size and the search issues!

    Thanks?

Well ahugarg this seems to be silly question

The S-Video out is only for VIDEO only
If you want to get your audio played thru tv . You should have a cable with stero pin and RCA at other ( You can easily make it . else u can get ready made cables)

S-Video does not carry an audio signal, you need to connect the audio to your TV seperately (usually with a 3.5mm to 2xphono lead) from the laptop headphone socket.

    Hope this helps!
