    Hi folks

    I've been reading all your threads and topics with interest so feel I'm quite up to speed with the various issues associated with the above units.

    Anyway I'm thinking of buying one but can't find a general review on the quality and day to day use of the things. I'm basically a home user who'll be doing a variety of browsing, email and business type functions but would also like to be able to play a few games too.

    What's the chance of the either of the above running, for example, Doom 3 or any of the other latest 3D games?

    Also I've found the odd comment on other Acer models which complain about the WiFi and Bluetooth buttons being at the front of the unit and being accidentally pressed when in use on your lap. Is this true and is it a problem?

    From studying the various website (ShopAcer etc) it appears that we get the 4 cell batteries here in the UK. If I order form the factory will Acer ship it with an 8 cell as a special order?

    Answers to these questions and any general review comments grateful appreciated.
