From what I understand, the 1810 only has a certain amount of configurations is this correct? it cant be customized? What is the BEST 1810 available if it cant be customized? Another concern I have is it having Windows 7 Home Edition.. I have some programs that worry me with Windows 7 compatibility and I was wondering if there are any other options for XP Mode since the Home Edition of Windows 7 does not offer xp mode

When you say customizable what are you looking to customize? Some programs will have comapatility issues but unless you do the Windows anytime upgrade you probably won't get virtual XP. A suggeston though is if you are going to do that be sure to get a dual core that will support it!

When I say customize I meant like pick the processor.. Os.. Ram.. I cnt find somethin like that on the acer site.. So what is the most powerful 1810 that's preconfigged?

I just want to be able to run xp programs until they r upgraded.. So is there any config for the 1810 that will let me use xp thru a virtual os?

The most powerful is the 1810t with a dual core su7300. It comes with Win 7 Home Premium, though. That version doesn't support xp virtualization. I believe only pro and ultimate has xp virtualization.
