Hi i bought an Acer 2012 Wlci brand new laptop 2 months back, every thing is running fine but i have one confusing (problem). The confusion is that when ever I play a game like Doom3 or NFS Underground or any other high graphics game the temperature of the Centreno Processor rises from 48 degree to 75 degree. My question over here is that is this normal for Centreno? or its dangerous or critical? although the place where i have kept my laptop is cool with air condition mostly on. Please some one advise on this!?

    regards

    Raheel

This is a normal thing to happen. When running anything intensive on the system, it'll heat up. I believe the thermal spec for this CPU is 100°C. Anything below that is fine, especially when running anything intensive. I don't think you have anything to worry about. If it gets very close to 100°C then there may be a cooling issue happening.
