Does anyone know to find the 2025 or 2026 laptops in the uk?
I can only find the 2023 and would like the faster processors.
Thanks

Nevermind. I had a look on acer's website and only the 2023 is available in the uk. Damn!!!

Does anybody know when the Acer aspire 2025 or 2026 are coming to the UK, or does anyone know a good online shop that would allow me to buy a laptop using a credit card issued in the UK?

On other forums (notebookforums.com) I read that the 2026 is due in the UK by the end of July or mid-August so it will soon be there and don't splash the money on 2023. as for the 2025 you have run out of luck for I beleive it is available only in the US - Europe and Asia get the 2023 and 2026(which I would have preferred over the 2025 but..)
Good luck.

is it possible to import the 2026 to the us from a site in the UK when it becomes available?

It should be possible but the question is how much the shipping will cost and I don't know if there will be any fees at the border as well. The 2026 runs for around 2400 bucks so you should ask yourself if it is really worth it to buy it just for a SLIGHT improvement in clockspeed. the 2026 also comes with a 60GB HD which may a be concern for some people.
Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that Acer will not bring a 2.0GHZ Dothan powered Aspire (2027 ?) in the USA. Here is the richest and largest market, after all. I am more inclined to believe that they are just trying how the 2026 will be accepted by the public and if it is a success it will come to the USA.
Plus even if you do buy the 2.0 Dothan soon it will be an old model as it often happens with computers - Intel are to release on the market a new Centrino based processor which will be more powerful and more efficient than Dothan. I forgot the name of the new guy - it was something with S... sorry I just forgot - and it should be released by the end of the year. Then the Dothan will be outdated, so...
