    Hi,
I recently reinstalled windows xp sp2 onto my Acer Travelmate 2501LC.
Since then, my 2 PCMCIA cardbus slots don't appear to be functioning.
According to the Device Manager both are working properly but anytime I try and attach hardware to them I get a Code10 error message.
I've tried attaching a Firewire card and an Echo Indigo soundcard with no success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

I've never heard of this problem before. It might be something rare, so I suggest you send it in a shop to be checked for 15$.
