Hi,
I have a leftover T7300 and was wondering if I bought a 2920z with a T2310 could I swap the CPU's?
Anyone have any ideas, had a look around the forum and google but couldn't seem to confirm exactly. I obviously don't have the laptop yet so can't confirm what chipset(?) it has.
Want a cheap 12" portable so if anyone has any thoughts on this model please share!
Thanks![]()

info from BIOS VERSION 1.08 so if your BIOS is 1.08 or higher is you can support Penryn CPUs.... (( The first “Penryn” CPUs are the Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, T8300, T9300, T9500, and the Core 2 Extreme X9000.))
2. based on V1.06 and update kernel code to Rev 1.41 update for Penryn
if your bios supports T9500 it supports any lower socket P CPUS as well
BTW the latest BIOS is a version 1.13 -
Brilliant! Thanks for your help
