Hi, would anyone be able to help turn on the VT-X option in the Acer 2930 Insyde bios?

I've looked at the 2 methods described in these forums (using Ezh202 and Hex editor & the Marchan blog inspired method) but can't seem to get to grips with it.

I'm using the current bios from the acer website (version 1.17 http://global-download.acer.com/GDF...3=Aspire 2930&OS=V10&LC=en&BC=Acer&SC=EMEA_27)

If anyone can either hack the bios for me or tell me step by step what to do then there'll be a beer or 3 in it for them :)

    Cheers in advance
    Brett

Don't bother if your processor isn't VT-X capable.

    Hello Breham

Have you had any luck with VT on the ACER 2930?

    Thanks
