I'm deciding on whether I will get the Acer 3002 or a dell laptop and the breaking point is whether or not i can get an additional battery for the 3002, what i want to know is: are there any other batteries that will work with the 3002? I have been online looking for batteries for a few good hours and all I can find that might work with the acer are
    Electrovaya.

    Please Please Help Me!!!!

It appears to be a separate large (like a stand underneath) battery for extra long playtime.

the poster i think is asking for something like a hot-swap drive bay battery pack. i know the travel mate 8100 and ferarri series laptops support that. i posted a question on this forum about it earlier. right now i'm trying to figure out if the acer aspire 5002 supports the extra battery. you might wanna try to email their tech support or sales department. that's what i just did now for my 5002. no response yet. will probably get one in about 2-3 days since it's now friday and they will probably only be working again at the helpdesk starting monday
