I am keen to upgrade both the HDD and RAM on my 3002 and was wondering if anyone could tell me:

    1. Whether the HDD is 2.5" or 1.8". I am hoping to instal a 7200 Hitachi.
    2. If I can keep one of the existing 256mb modules in place and add a 1gb module in the other slot, or if I should keep the RAM in equal pairs.
    3. Crucial offers both PC2-4200 DDR2-533 and PC2-5300 DDR2-667 RAM. Is there anything to be gained by going for the more expensive DDR2-667 RAM? Given that the FSB is 533, I wouldn't have thought there was any point in going for the 667 RAM, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

    1. l think its a 2.5" drive but i'm not sure.
    2. Doesn't matter
    3. Get the DDR2 533, l don't think any Pentium M has a bus speed higher then 533 l think, only Yonah uses DDR2 667.

Thanks for the reply Unreal. I didn't think the DDR2 667 seemed appropriate.
