Here's my story.. last week I updated my bios to the latest version (3A32) successfully. Then I noticed that I ended up with less options on my bios page (less shared video memory). So I decided to go back to the older bios so I could share more video memory since I was having problems watching HD videos. I ran Winphlash, bios got rewritten, then while trying to restart, the computer froze. I got it turned off by holding down the power button. Now the laptop is completely dead. When my battery is in or my adapter is plugged in the battery light remains green even though the laptop is not on

I'm guessing my laptop uses the phoenix bios (and not Insyde) so I wanted to use the bios recovery these guys used here by raelman

However, I can't even power on the laptop.. the power button does nothing. The only sign of life on my laptop is the constantly lit (green) battery light

is there anyway I could get it powered on? I'm broke right now so I really hope I can fix this. Any help please.
    :(

Thats what Im guessing.. its dead so I'm gonna buy an Acer Aspire One now.
I always said i'd never buy another Acer (being an HP lover), but the Aspire One looks pretty good to me right now.. plus its cheap.

    Well thanks for your info..

Actually, while typing this I won a 160gb 1gb Aspire One on ebay. Hope it doesnt dissapoint. I read some reviews but what do you guys think of them?
