I bought myself a scandisck memory stick so i could use it for my machine. Obviously, i'm writing in this forum because i'm having problems with my computer recognizing the memory. Did anyone else experience this problem? Are there any possible solutions?

Is this the original load that came with the OS or did you reload it yourself from scratch? If reloaded, make sure you installed the 3in1 drivers otherwise you will have problems reading media. Another user had a problem reading memory cards as well (corrputed the media), I think it was Chaisylain (hope I spelled that right). It was hidden inside a different thread, so it may be a bit hard to find. I'll post the link if I can locate it. The only problem is I don't think Chaisy found a solution. This might be turning out to be a problem with the 3in1 media slots in the 3200 series.

    Edit: Here's the link.

It looks as if we do have the same problem. I don't know if the memory disc is broken or its actually a hardware problem.
    Any other advice???

Do you have a printer or a digital camera that uses this type of memory cards? If so, you can try the memory card in there an connect to your notebooks via USB and see if you can access the card properly. Try a format on the camera (built-in feature, at least in my camera) and see if the memory card can be read after that.
