Mobo crashed on my computer.I have the hard drive in an external enclosure. The system was FAT32 format running windows XP SP2.The hard drive has two partitions and I can't find any of my personal files. How can I access the info? Are the files hidden?TIA

No- that's not supposed to be hidden in any way.
You should try software like Ontrack EasyRecovery.

Just remember- whatever you do- do not write to the hard drive.
Also check SMART status to see if it's not failing on you- in which case you don't have much time left so you shouldn't keep in powered on while trying to find a solution.

Thanks. The HD isn't having any issues.I think data was lost when the mobo crashed.I have found more files gone besides my personal files.Nearly every program I downloaded is gone.
