My friend recently purchase a 1 GB RAM from a shop. And the shop technician help him install the new ram, and is no problem when running windows. However, when he opened his laptop back home, his windows was very lagging until each program take long long time to open up.

What problem with his lap? His laptop 3620 initially had 256MB. What step he need to take or any advice?

    Thanks :)

Sounds like incompatible RAM .. www.crucual.com .. always your firt port of call.
    Failing that get CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

    Look for ...
    Download Latest version
    CPU-Z 1.39

Click the link, download and run the exe .. should give you an idea what's going on :
