    Hi,
I need some help with my laptop battery.....the battery is for an Acer 3680
    (sony PRESP41 Lithium Ion 44400mWh)

The problem is that it won't charge past a certian point, the first time it got to 52% then the charge rate dropped to 0. I drained it and then the second time it got to 48% then stopped.
The battery monitor states it s charging but the charge rate is 0

This is actually the second battery, the first only reached 7% and the same thing happened! i thought old battery, so replaced with his one but the same result just a little more life in it......

Laptop works fine on adaptor and runs acuratly to the time o the battery.

    Any suggestions???

    Thnks

Your new battery looks to be old stock , sold on ebay ..

Contact the seller for replacement .
