    Hello and greetings everyone
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction.
I bought a 3680 for my kids to do homework and other misc stuff on. Vista came with it and I cannot stand that OS, So i bought Xp and reformatted. Unfortunately when I went to reinstall drivers and things, my kids have lost the resource disk. I have been downloading like a madman to try and get everything back on, but I seem to be having a problem getting the wireless conection working again. Its like its not there and was wondering if anyone knows how I might fix this issue...

any further questions to help you help me just let me know.

    TIA

i guess the first thing you need to do is figure out which WIFI card is installed in the 3680,, unless you know what brand the WIFI is,, it may be most easy to remove the bottom access pannel cover and read the info off the card,,,

i'm not sure about your model,, but all newer Acers have a STICKER on the bottom of the laptop that identifies the WIFI card, but there should be a sticker since WIFI is a radio transmitter i believe FCC requires some sort of info be present..

look and see if there is any refernce to either
    ATHEROS
    BROADCOMM
    INTEL

those are the major cards used by ACER..

once you find the manufacturer,, download the proper driver from the link andy posted... (if it is ATHEROS,, download the NEWER driver listed near the bottom of the list)
