So when I first got my laptop yesterday, it wouldn't charge to 100, it was stuck on 99. I let it charge all night and it was stuck on 99%, I woke up this morning, ran WPrime till it died, and then I started to charge it. Fast forwards 2 and a half/3 hours later and the laptop is just 80%... does it seem like somethings wrong?

:) good to see you here!

I am going to test it further. I still have 11 days to return it so I'll keep testing the battery as I've already set this machine up to my liking.

Batteries usually have 6 months warranty so stop testing the battery, you might ruin it even more. If your notebook is one year old and you used it alot on battery or kept the battery charged 100% in the notebook it lost its capacity.
Li-ion batteries usually lose around 20% of charge per year with ambient temperature of ~25C.

But for Timeline warranty might be longer so take it to seller as soon as you can.

bad cell in the battery, will need a new battery. the battery will work normally, but with diminished capacity.

The battery seems to work fine (pulls in 5-7 hours) problem is that charging this thing is ridiculous and requires the whole day! I bought the notebook Sunday and I really don't want to return it but I have to :(
