I recently bought an Acer 3810T laptop. Really like it but if I let it site for more than a couple of days, the battery is completely dead. I charge it fully (blue light). Put it away for a few days, and no juice. I am running WIN7. I requested and received a new battery from Acer so I don't think it is the battery. Any ideas?

My first non-Dell laptop and not too happy so far. At least my Dell's would still have power.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

yes, this battery drain is some kind of "feature" Same with 1810T series :(
I wouldn't expect any fix. Unfortunately, I have no idea if other manufacturer's laptops behave the same.

My other laptops don't have this "feature". Shame on me for not doing a more thorough review of this laptop. Hmmm. I think I need to sell this and go back to a Dell.
