I've been sweating bullets trying to get the Broadcom BCM92046 bluetooth (off ebay) to work. I caught a whiff of it on a thread where Acer decided to simply reverse the order of the pins on a few notebook models.

I know this may be a big "uhh we knew that" for some, but I want to officially post this for those who are searching for the solution:

    - First, slide the bluetooth connector into the motherboard so that you know which way it is meant to go in, otherwise when I say, "flip it over", you'll have no idea which side is considered flipped over :)

    - On the end that connects to the motherboard, use a nail clipper and clip off the two tiny guides that allows you to put the connector in only one way.

    - Flip the connector over and slide it in and you're all set!

    - Now when you do Fn+F3 (with Launch Manager installed), the bluetooth toggle will now appear instead of just WIFI.

    - Turn on the Bluetooth and it will start installing default drivers.

    - (optional) Install Broadcomm Drivers off of the Acer Support Site.

Seeing how this is a specific thread for Bluetooth, I'm running out of USB slots and need creative ways to solve this. How would this pair with a gaming mouse if installed? Also, is there a Bluetooth module that doesn't require nail clippers?
