Quick summary: Switched from my SSD to another 2.5" HDD, switched from AHCHI to IDE in BIOS, changed back to my SSD, changed from IDE to AHCHI in BIOS. Earlier error message: "BOOTMGR MISSING", "A disk error has occured, press CTRL+ALT+DELTE to restart". Now the computer finds the harddrive randomly (sometimes it does, sometimes not) but its just a black screen and does not happen anything.

    More detailed summary:
Tried using my Win 7 Recovery DVD but it does not find any installation of Windows. Tried loading SATA-drivers but the (SATA)drivers from Acer contain SO many different drivers and I have tried perhaps 6 and it has not found my harddrive. Tried Ubuntu and it DID actually find my HDD, then downloaded "Boot-Repair" and ran it. Tried rebooting but still no luck. See attached screenshot for what I found when I ran "Disk Utility" or something like that in Ubuntu.

Downloaded "Wondershare LiveBoot 2012" and when I successfully can boot it ("explanation below") the program does not detect any harddrives.

What I believe is the case is that WHEN the HDD actually is found when I boot my computer even though every device (USB HDD, USB CD etc.) is above "HDD" the SSD makes all other operations impossible.

    Ex:
Boot -> SSD is found -> Boot from USB/DVD -> black screen
Boot -> SSD is not found -> Boot from USB/DVD -> OK (ex. LiveBoot 2012) -> Chosen LiveCD / LiveOS does not find HDD (since it was not detected at boot).

I also made a stupid mistake, I had a BIOS password as well as a HDD password (apparently) and I "locked" it due to that I entered to many invalid passwords (I am SURE I entered the correct one). Now when the HDD is actually found it says something like "ADATASSD_FROZEN" but I still have to enter my password so I can continue with the boot process).

I am at a loss. It seems that when I actually can boot with some tools (Win 7 RE or LiveBoot 2012) I can't detect my HDD and when my HDD is detected I can't load any tools.

The only thing that worked (once, never tried it again) was running Ubuntu from a LiveCD. But the program I tried (Boot-Repair) did not solve the problem. Ubuntu also didn't actually mount my partitions.

Will be eternally grateful for any and all assistance.
Sorry about grammar and spelling errors, english is not my native language but I hope I get the information across anyway.
