    Hi everybody!

I just got Aser TM4152Lmi (4150 series). Everything is fine, but there is one thing that bothers me. CPU fan runs almost constantly when the computer is on AC power (on the batteries its OK). On AC it runs even if there is no task running, CPU usage 0-2%. It interrupts from time to time for 5-10 sec. then starts again. The computer is absolutely cool! Why all this noise? Is it normal for Acer? Or I have some kind of a problem?

    Thanks a lot!

It's normal. The laptop has to keep the air moving in the laptop to keep the components cool. :)

Maybe change your power settings? Go into the Control panel, click power options, and change it to portable/laptop mode.
