With my Acer 4315, I am currently stuck on BIOS v1.16.

On these forums, I see that current is v1.18 or maybe higher.

I cannot find v1.18 anywhere, even on the euro site a link stops at v1.16.

Where can I find v1.18 or higher?

    Hi,
    What's wrong with that Bios?
Hm. On Acer US and Germany website, I can only find Bios 1.15. But there is a 1.18 for the 431 0, which is nothing I'd recommend for your 4315

I thought there was a v1.8 from what I read here.

    Higher version = better.

I am going to install a T7300 in it, want to get the highest version to ensure it will work.

    I had a 4315 running just fine on 1.15 or probably 1.16 with slic 2.1 and a C2D T8300.
    Bios 1.16 > 1.8

I have the T7300 installed now. It runs excellent and the thermal are great, battery life is much better.

Nice a T8300 sounds good. Where do I find v1.16 with slic 2.1?

There is no option in the BIOS to enable VT, can this be done somehow?
