    Hey Venombite thanks for the link. Those are really good pictures. But kisut to note, the rear end of the 4500 looks so ntidy and sloppily made, i mean with jagged edges and stuff. I just saw a pic of the HP zt3000 and it was kinda smooth. I think you can compare an Acer 4500 with a HP zt3000...

    The back is made jagged so that you can get a better grip when holding the unit. It's supposed to have some sort or rubber liner on the battery for grip. It's just a design. It's mainly user preference.

    i can tell you the jagged edge is great to grip it is actually like a horizontal mesh and you hold that well.
    Also, the setup of most controls is good though i confess i dont enjoy the 4-way scroller and i prefer the synaptics virtual scroll.
