    hello, to everyone!
I need a laptop and i could use your experiences to select the most appropriate.

    These are the constraints-preferences:
My budget is around 1100 euros (1330 USD).
It will be used for editing office documents, simulations and surfing.
I want SXGA+ resolution for higher productivity
I don't play games, but i hate dissapearing images on word documents when scrolling.
I like traveling so battery life (3-4h) and weight (~3 kgr) and quality are important.

Searching many hours on the web i 've found (here in Greece) two candidates.
    1) Acer 4601Lci Pro (Centrino 730 1.60GHz, 512 MB ram, 40 GB hd, ATI X600, DVD-CDRW) @ 1100 Euros
    2) Asus A3800G (Centrino 1.60, 512, 40GB, ATI 9700, DVD Dual Recorder, Web camera) @ 1250 Euros

But i haven't found detailed reviews (in english) for making up my mind. This is strange (as many have mentioned before) because their value-for-money is great.
What do you think of them?
Other laptops that fulfil the above criteria, but escaped my attention?

    Thank you very much...
