I'm currently in Vietnam at the moment and decided to pick up a Acer 14inch since my Asus G73jw was too big to lug around. The 4743G was the i3 version with linux and 2 gigs of ram but came with the Nvidia 540m for just $600.

I installed win 64 home and added 4gigs to make the total 6. I updated to the most recent nvidia drivers then ran furmark on it for 15 minutes at max resolution of 1366 x 768. To my surprise, the thing just hovered around 72 degrees max. Has anyone had simliar results with their acer aspire w/ nvidia 540m? I'm wondering how well this card Oc's as well. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm using 5750G (i5-2410;540M) I've overclocked the video to 740/900/1480, there are no problems what so ever. It reaches score 9000+ on 3dmark06 in native resolution. The temps of the 540m never exceed 75C; the processor is running hotter, it reaches almost 90 C.
