    My Specs:
    Core i5-2410m 2.3ghz Turboboost
    8gig Ram
    2gig nvidia vidcard
    640hdd
    Windows7 64bit

Hi!. I have a big problem with my laptop and I have tried every possible solution I found in google and posted several inquiries in the nvidia forums but still I can't figure this out. Well to sum it up majority of the games I play (Dota2, Heroes of Newerth, Diablo3, WarCraft3 Dota stutters every few seconds. From 60fps to 15fps even when I'm just standing doing nothing even if I set the video settings to low there's no difference. Here's what I tried so far.

    1) tried using old and new drivers ( currently using 301.42 )
    2) Manually set the nvidia chip on the nvidia control panel.
    3) Used throttlestop used set multiplier 17 etc., configured powersettings to max processor state etc.
    4) Overclocked GPU using nvidia system tools. set the graphics clock to 800 and processor clock to 1600. My temps never go above 72c
    5) Used the integrated chip manually selecting it on the nvidia control panel ( currently I'm able to play smooth using this solution but with low video settings.)

If there's any experts out there who can give me advice please help. I bought this laptop because I trusted nvidia but it saddens me now that optimus is a failure.

    So it's not a problem.
Are you sure it's not throttling though?

alot of people are complaining about the same issue. stuttering on video games and major fps drops even when doing nothing. I tried using throttlestop and turned off the turbo mode and used a set multiplier to 17 which is a standard i5 multiplier according to some forums. Unfortunately I still am not able to fix this. thus I'm forced to use the integrated chip just to eliminate the annoying stuttering.
