This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Acer 4810T volume key not working anymore

    ...since I installed Windows 7 (got rid of Vista) the volume control (Fn+up/down arrows) on this computer won't work and I have to do it manually (from the taskbar). It's not a major problem, but it just takes longer. Is it because that was linked to Vista somehow?

    Install Launch manager and it should work...

    Where can I install it from? Sorry, computers is not my thing (and that's why I'm here!).
