    Hey guys,

I just recently purchased an Acer 4820TG-6847 and I'm having an issue with the DVD optical drive.

I've figured out that to save battery, the laptop will just turn off the optical drive. However, when I have the laptop plugged in, power saving mode is off? So the DVD drive is now connected (I keep getting this notifications from the intel rapid storage technology thingie, do I need that program?)

Now, whenever I put a little pressure on the right side of the laptop, the disk drive spontaneously ejects itself. Even tilting the laptop to the side, causes the drive to eject.

What the heck gives? I personally, will never use the DVD drive besides to install Starcraft 2 and other games. Ideally, I'd just like it to not keep coming out.

    Any ideas?
