    Hi..
I have an Acer 4930..about an year old.the problem which has recently began is that whenever i try to burn a CD or DVD it burns till about 95% or so and then aborts saying "cannot perform EndTrack"....I have tried it with Nero 8 Nero 9 and some others.
Does my DVD drive have to be replaced?Or is there any other solution?

    TIA.

I would clean the lens and also the blow out any debris inside of it.

if that fails, then yes, the drive is going bad.
